Norwegian pioneers in basejumping André Bach and Terje Halvorsen started jumping adventures in search of the the liferush in 1995.
They started jumping from cliffs, buildings, antennae’s, and anything they determined was tall enough – and still continue to search the epic jump – wherever it may be! Helen Keller’s quote about security, resonate with André and Terje’s feelings: “Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of humankind as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or it is nothing at all”.
